When it comes to the paranormal, you either believe in ghosts or you don't. I have seen hardcore skeptics have experiences that shook them to their core, and then they became firm believers in ghosts. On the opposite side of the coin, I have seen people have things happen right in front of them, and they will refuse to believe anything happened at all.
My first experience happened when I was just a few hours old. When I was little, my great-aunt told me about this.
