๐Ÿ•2/5๐Ÿ•Outside the Window (10 book series)

Sitting in my window, I watched the world go by. Lifting my leg a bit, I could feel the feeling coming back to my legs. The problem was that I had no memories of what landed me in the wheelchair. The problem with this is that I believe my family had something to do with this.

Chapter 1

Waking up, I heard my family moving around the house, starting their day. I sat up and slid myself to the side of the bed. Pulling my legs to the side of the bed, I slid myself into my wheelchair. Wheeling myself to the bathroom. Once I was done, I wheeled into my room, and started a cup of coffee, and looked at the sliding glass doors to my room.

There was a knock at my door and I said, "Come in."

My Mom walked in and said, "Hello, Amy, did you sleep well?"

I thought to myself and thought wow Mom you are being so formal. Fake it Amy. Looking up I said, "I sure did mom."

"I am dropping your siblings off to school," She said. "Do you need anything before Fred and I leave?"

"Yes," I said. "Where did my cell phone and laptop go?"

Fred walked in and said, "They are right here, Amy. You left them in the kitchen yesterday."

Taking them, I said, "Thank you, Fred."

Mom said, "See you later."

I heard Mom and Fred call out to my younger siblings, and then the front door closed. Wheeling to my small table, I opened my laptop. I noticed that someone tried to log into my system, and it showed login attempts failed, try again. Chuckling to myself, I pulled the camera capture up and saw that my Mom was trying to log in and became very angry that she could not log in.

Fred came up behind her, and she hurriedly closed the laptop. I logged in and checked my email. Looking at the emails I saw one from my college roommate Sam.

Amy,

Girl, how are you doing? Liten do you think we can meet up I need to speak with you and I cannot be around your Mom. Trust me this has to be kept secret.
