 Looking at the map that the lawyer was showing me, I asked, "This is all mine?"

He chuckled and said, "Crazy, I know, but your grandfather was insistent about it."

"How many miles of tunnel?" I asked.

"There are fourteen miles of tunnel and 20 areas in the fourteen miles," He said. "Basically, you own your own underground city."

"Underground city," I said. "What about the land above the tunnels?"

"You own that as well," He said. "There is also an underwater aquifer and generators that run from the currents of the water from the underwater streams there are as well."

"I will say again," I said. "This is crazy. How did my Grandfather hide this from everyone?"

"Do you remember when your Grandfather went fishing, hunting and camping?" He asked.

"Oh my," I said. "Yes, I do."

"That is your answer," He said. "The base of the underground is done. Now you get to continue with everything."

"What do you mean the base is done?" I asked.

"The twenty areas are dug out, and supports are in along with the fourteen miles of tunnels," He said. "Air filtration has been tested as well. Now the rest is up to you to do what you want to do. Don't worry, your Grandpa has a guy to help you with the specifics."

"How will I afford all of this?" I asked.

"Easy," He said. "Your Grandpa left you ten million dollars to work on this project. There is also a 2-million-dollar account that is for the business side. He had also left suggestions that you could let people camp on the land and fish from the rivers. There is over two hundred Acres of land. The sky is the limit, Mia."

I sighed and asked, "Is the land secure?"

He nodded and said, "Yes. The property has a staff of five guards that patrol the trails and property. You will meet with them next week. There is a cabin next to the entrance of the underground for you to live in, and then there is a security cabin which homes all the cameras."

"Can you please let them know I will arrive sometime next week after I tie up some loose ends?" I ask. "I should be there no later than Friday."

Mr. Albright said, "I will let them know. Then you can get to work."

Chuckling I said, "I never thought being an architect would lead to me building underground."
