When Chloe was five, she saw her first ghost. Her Grandpa explained to her things in this world are not always as they seem. But if she knew where to look and who to ask, she could unlock the world's most hidden secrets. The day Chloe turned eighteen, she was delivered the news that her Grandpa passed away that morning. At the reading of his will, he leaves her his trusty RV and all his money and belongings. Her parents disown her and give her two days to get out of their house. Her Grandpa's lawyer hands her a bag of journals written by her Grandfather, and Chloe sets off on a journey that will open up the strange and mysterious world she lives in. Join her and her boyfriend, Max, as they uncover secrets hidden all over the world.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sitting in the church, I stared at my feet as the funeral continued. Next to me sat my best friend, Max. Max leaned over as he took my hand, whispering in her ear, "You holding up Chloe?"

Squeezing his hand, I nodded across the aisle at my parents. It made me sick as my parents looked like they were celebrating. When the priest finished the church service, we followed behind the coffin for the walking procession to the Graveyard. Max cut off my parents to let me be behind the coffin. As we exited the church, he handed me the sunglasses he had put in his pocket when we entered. Max stood behind me as I took my graveside seat. I faced forward, and when the priest said, "Ashes to ashes and dust to dust." It hit me all at once, and the tears started to fall.

My head snapped up when I heard the coffin go into the ground. I sat staring at it until I heard my Father say, "Chloe, you are required to be at the reading of the will at the house in one hour. Do not be late."

Max looked at him and said, "I will have her there in time, Sir."

As my parents walked away, I sighed and said, "It makes me sick how they are celebrating Grandpa being gone."

"Come on, Chloe, let's go," He said. "Grandpa knew how much you loved him, and if his spirit is here, you being sad would tear him apart to see you like this."

I looked at Max and kissed his cheek, "Thank you for being here for me, Max."

"You cannot get rid of me, Chloe," He said. "You know I love you. I would follow you into the pits of hell if I needed to."

Taking Max's hand, I let him lead me to his truck. Max and I have known each other since we were in pre-school. Although we were attracted to each other, we never jumped into that line. We had an unspoken agreement that it would be something to talk about for another day. As we pulled up to my parent's house, Max laughed and said, "They are throwing a party while they do a reading of the will?"

We parked behind Grandpa's RV. As we walked past, we ran our hands along the side. My older brother Mike came out of the house and said, "When the will reading is over, Mom is going to get rid of that thing."

Max looked at him and said, "Mike, can you not be a dick till everything is over."

Mike laughed and said, "Why? He was old, and now he is dead. When Mom and Dad inherit Grandpa's money, I get a new sports car."

I reached up and slapped Mike so hard that his head jerked back, "How dare you? You will get yours, Mike, so help me god."

Max jumped and said, "Mike, don't you start provoking her. You know how upset Chloe is."

Mike turned around and went inside. Max took my hand, and we headed inside to my parent's funeral party. I saw Mike standing with his buddies, and my Dad found me and said, "You here early, good. Go to the office. Grandfather's lawyer is waiting."

Max leaned over and said, "I will get us plates and go to your room."

I walked into the office and saw Mr. Jackson speaking with my mother. When I walked in, Mr. Jackson turned to me and said, "Chloe, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you would rather be anywhere but here, but you are needed here for the reading. I promise I will make this quick for you, alright?"

"Thank you, Mr. Jackson. I need today to be over with," I said as he directed me to the chair next to the desk.

My Father and Brother came in, and everyone sat down. Mr. Jackson said, "We are here to go over the will of Marshal Phillips. Marshal has made sure you cannot contest this will. If you try to fight the will, you will lose everything left to you. I need you all to reply you understand."

We all agreed, and then he turned his laptop around and said, "This is a quick video by Marshal. Please do not say anything while it's playing."

The video started showing the office we were in, and then Grandpa sat in the chair. He looked at the camera and asked, "Mr. Jackson, are we ready?"

We heard Mr. Jackson confirm the video was recording, and he looked at the camera and said, "Well, you all know I am dead. But you are all about to get the shock of your life. I will be watching you all, and believe me, I am saying you are all about to get what you deserve. I wrote this will in my own words, so prepare for the hard truth. Chloe, my love, do your Grandpa's heart a solid and finally start a relationship with Max. That young man would follow you into the pits of hell if you asked him to, and I know you love each other like I loved my dear May. We are together now, and we will be watching over you. I love you, sweet pea, and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Mr. Jackson, please give Chloe the bag now."

The video ended, and Mr. Jackson said, "Chloe, these are journals written by your Grandfather and are for your and Max's eyes only. Your Grandfather said you would understand what to do with these."

I took the bag, placing it on my lap as Mr. Jackson sat down and read the will. "This is the last will of Marshal Phillips, done in his own words. My son Ted, you're about to get a shock. You get to keep the house and cars. That's it. You took more than you ever gave. You do not deserve much else. Also, if you and Sharon ever get a divorce, it is in the will that the house will revert to Chloe. Then she can decide if she wants you to live here after the divorce. Take note, Sharon, you will never get control of the house or the cars ever. Thank God you signed the prenup, and Mr. Jackson has that for safekeeping. As I got sick and started to die, it was Chloe who took care of me, not you. When I requested to move to a hospice facility, it was to escape you and Sharon as you were waiting for me to die so you could pillage the house. Well, everyone, the joke is on you because before I got too sick, I had Mr. Jackson come in and help me move the important stuff to the RV, and you have no access to it. Also, before Chloe leaves that house for good, she has first pick on everything in my room. She has the key, and no one can enter until she takes what she wants. Sharon, all that jewelry you wanted will never be yours. I knew you only married Ted because of my money. But as you have been in the family so long, I have to leave you something so you get this cookbook, Cooking for Dummies, and $1. That's because now you both have to pay your way. My Grandson Mike, you have been a tormenter and bully to Chloe all her life, and for this, I leave you $1. You thought you could live off your parents and me and have never shown initiative to better yourself. Well, my Grandson, that is all you get. Now, to my shining spot in the world, Chloe. You won the motherload, my sweet angel. You get the RV. It has been cleaned, serviced, and readied for your adventure. Inside the RV, you will find vouchers and gas cards you need for your adventure. All the items are in the RV, and the title is in your name. All my investments, savings, and main checking are yours. The amount is in the 1 billion dollar range. You will check all the accounts, and Mr. Jackson will help you privately. Now, with all of this, there is a catch. You cannot give any of this away or loan it out. You have always been a smart girl and have worked hard. So I know you are a saver and will use the money wisely. Use this adventure to start the blog and write that book we always discussed. Remember, I love you. I will see you around, kiddo."

Mr. Jackson handed me a binder and said, "This is all your accounts, Chloe, and it also holds the RV papers, including the registration and insurance. As of today, all your mail will come to our offices so we can get them to you wherever you travel. Your Grandfather handled this a while ago between us and my partners."

My Dad sat there and said, "If we contest the will?"

Mr. Jackson looked up and said, "You cannot. Your father paid for everything in this house. He paid for his funeral before his death. Before he went into hospice, we sat with the state supreme court to ensure you could not contest the will. If you contest the will, you will lose the house and cars. Then you will have less than 30 days to leave without anything but your belongings."

My Mom glared at me and said, "So we own the house?"

"The house is officially Teds as of Monday afternoon when I bring the forms for him to sign," He said.

"Good," She said, looking at me. "Chloe, you need to be moved out and get that damned RV off my property by Monday at one in the afternoon."

She and my brother left. My Dad looked at me and said, "Your Mom is right. You should leave the house, so you need to get upstairs to your room and start packing. Make sure you take anything you want from your Grandpa's room when you leave, as it all goes to charity this week."

He got up and left. Mr. Jackson looked at me. Handing me the keys to the RV and said, "Make sure you keep it locked when you're not moving things there."

Nodding, I went out the door and ran into Max. He caught me and said, "Are you alright?"

"We need to talk," I said. "Did you get food?"

*************************************************************************

"Yeah I brought it into your room," He said.

I took his hand and dragged him up the back staircase. When we got in there I locked the door and took him to the balcony after I put on my TV and turned it up. When we were on the balcony with our food he said, "Chloe what happened your Mom and Mike came out pissed off. Your Dad came out and said to me I hope you can carry boxes."

"You remember when we laughed about how Grandpa had us get our license to drive the RV?" I asked.

"Yeah," He said. "We laughed but decided to do it to make him happy."

I sat there telling him everything about the reading of the will and the journals. Then I told him about the video and what Grandpa had said about how we belonged together. When I got to the adventure Max said, "I know."

"What?" I asked.

"Your Grandpa told me when he was passing he wanted us to go on an adventure but not that he was financing it. I have been saving to take you down to the keys," He said.

"Well apparently in the RV there is everything for an adventure for us. No wonder he had us get our passports when we turned eighteen," I said. "But that will have to wait for a couple of days because I have to pack and be out of this house by Monday at 1pm."

We finished eating and he took the plates and put them on the dresser. When I came off the balcony he walked up to me and put my face in his hands. Leaning in he kissed me. I did not stop it either. By the time we pulled apart we were breathless and he put his forehead to mine and said, "We will figure it out while we are on the adventure. But for now we have to get you moved out of here."

Nodding I said, "I agree."

I walked into the closet and said, "I guess I need to get boxes to put everything in the RV. There is the master bedroom I can add clothes into. Then stuff I am not using right away I can put in boxes in the bunks. Wait Max what about your job?"

He sighed and said, "Chloe I work from home remember. I can work as long as I have WIFI so I will upgrade my plan so I can do just that. Plus you should know better than anyone I do not have a set work schedule."

"So now what," I asked.

"Easy I am going to go get some boxes for you," He said. "When I get back we can take the first load of your clothes down to the RV. Remember I do not have a lot of clothes so I should not need that much space. If I remember right that closet is huge in the RV."

Max kissed my forehead and left with our plates. Going into the closet I started sorting clothing into warm and cold weather clothes. I kept the clothes for warm weather out for now and ready to hang in the closet. I would box up the cold weather clothes for later use. I had most of the closet done when I heard a knock at my door. Looking up I saw my mother and asked, "What can I help you with?"

"We saw Max left so we wanted to make sure you were packing. When will you be done?" She asked.

"I am working on it now and I will be done with my room and Grandpa's room by Monday at 1pm if not sooner," I said.

"Good," She said.

Stopping I looked up to her and said, "What did I do to you all to make you hate me?"

"Easy," she said. "You were born."

Laughing I said, "Well I am glad to know that I never have to see you ever again. You are a sad and bitter woman. Trust me when I say we will be packing late into the night and I will be out of here as fast as I can."

"We need your car keys," She said.

"Not until I move out," I said.

She turned on her heel and left the room. By the time Max got back he had changed out of his suit and brought in a few totes and ten boxes. He said, "Well my Mom is pissed and told me that if I am going to travel with you I need to be out by Friday of next week."

"Oh Max I am so sorry," I said.

"Don't be she is mad she will not be able to get cash from me whenever she wants it," He said. "I had already taken her name off of all my accounts and made sure all my stuff would be easy to move. So what do you need me to box?"

"All those clothes folded are winter clothes," I said. "I then need to pack all my books off of the shelves."

I took a box and put in most of my shoes in it. I kept a laundry basket free for stuff that would go in my drawers. When we had a bunch of boxes ready I grabbed the first handful of clothing and we went downstairs after locking the door to my room. When we got to the RV I unlocked it and went inside. Putting on the lights we headed to the bedroom that was shrunk for driving. Max added the books to the back of one bunk. We looked at the top bunk on the other side with boxes that said, stuff for Chloe. We looked around and I said, "I guess the bunks will hold our stuff for now. After I move out I will go to Walmart and get food, kitchen and bath stuff while you pack. We both know I am not allowed in your mom's house."

He said, "It will be okay Chloe."

"I know," I said. "We will need to find a place to park until we leave on this adventure."

"Oh I took care of that," He said. "Uncle Mack said we can come out to the farm and park near the barn whenever we are in town. That way we can go over the journals and plan things."

I gave a sigh of relief and Max said, "Come on, the woman gave me a 10pm curfew tonight. When I get home I am going to start packing. I see we can hook our gaming systems in the bedroom and living room. What I pack tonight I will bring more tomorrow before we move more of your things to the RV."

"Do you need to stop for more boxes?" I asked.

"No I have plenty in the truck," He said. "I have an alarm for 9:15 so we take one last load to the RV before I leave."

For the next few hours we continued to pack up my room. By the time Max alarm went off more than half of my room was done. When he left I went into the kitchen and grabbed a few of the sandwiches left from the funeral lunch. When I got up the stairs Mike was standing at my door. Looking at him I asked, "What?"

"I want to look through Grandpas room to see what I can sell," He said.

"No," I said. "Not until I go through it."

"You greedy whore," He said. "You made me a laughing stock and now you tell me no."

"Exactly Mike," I said. "I made you the laughing stock because you had to brag about something you did not have. Move out of my way I want to continue to pack so I can leave this place."

He raised his hand to hit me and my Dad bellowed, "Mike."

Mike jumped back and said, "This is not over."

"Mike if anything happens to me, Max, the RV or any of my stuff you will go to jail." I said. "The RV was serviced two weeks ago and nothing was wrong with it. You all want me to go away and I will be gone as fast as I can."

My Dad walked up as I unlocked the door and I said, "You here to tell me you wish I was never born as well."

"No I came to tell you I am sorry for how things worked out," He said.

"No your sorry you did not get anything but the house and cars," I said. "You let Mike bully me for years and let Mom treat me as I was nothing. I will leave and never come back. Your inaction speaks louder than the words you say now."

He stopped the door and said, "Leave stuff for your brother after you go through your Grandfathers room."

He turned and walked away. Going into my room I sat at my desk and ate as I logged into the website I started making when Grandpa was sick. It was a blog named it A Strange New World. I was eating slow and I felt a breeze go past me. I chuckled lightly and said, "Grandpa you do not know what a mess you left."

As I turned to face him he laughed as he sat on my bed. "Oh Chloe I was there but you were upset. I tried visiting Max but he was to busy worrying about you. I will give him credit you both finally stepped over the friend line."

"Grandpa what are in the journals?" I asked.

"Chloe there are things all around the world that people think of as mystical," He said. "My dear girl you and that blog are going to rip away the veil and bring it to life. Trust me when I say the items in the boxes in the RV as well as those journals will be your life line. Max and you will be going on an adventure of a lifeline and will soon forget about this place. Trust me on that."

"Will I see you again?" I asked.

"Oh sweet girl of course you will," He said. "Your gift to see everything as it truly is is a great treasure. Your Grandma told me to tell you, live your life and try new things."

"Why is she not here," I asked.

"She knew we needed some visits to ourselves," He said.

"I miss you Grandpa," I said. "I would give up everything to have you here instead."

"Sweet girl I have had this planned since you were born," He said. "You never had a chance to fight this. But I do need to go now. I will be watching your adventures and Chloe, Max and you belong together."

"I love you Grandpa," I said.

"Love you to Chloe," He said as he walked up to me and kissed my forehead.

Finishing the food I had with me I started in my dresser and started to pack when my phone rang. Picking up the phone I said, "Hey Max."

"Hey Chloe how are things since I left?" He asked.

"Well Mike started crap, Mom told me I was a mistake, Dad tried to cover his butt and my Grandpa visited me and we had a conversation," I said. "How about you?"

"Oh my Mom is in rare form," He said. "I have been packing non stop and she keeps coming in asking me if I am taking everything. I told her I am taking everything but the furniture. She asked me to sell my TV and XBOX. I told her she could have the TV when I left and she finally left me alone. I was planning on relaxing by playing some games tonight but the Xbox is already packed ready for my truck in the morning."

"What are you going to do with your truck while we are gone?" I asked.

"Uncle Mack is going to store it in the garage," He said. "I will leave the keys in case he needs it."

"Well that sounds like a plan," I said. "What time will you be here tomorrow?"

"Chloe you are going to sleep in tomorrow," He said. "You need to get some sleep and rest. I will be there at eleven and I will bring you breakfast."

"Oh, that sounds good," I said. "Maybe throw an ice coffee in there as well."

"What kind of man do you think I am to bring you breakfast without a coffee," He joked. "Your Hilarious."

"I try," I said. "I have a lot of stuff to add to my dresser draws and I have a bunch of boxes as well. You will have to help me pull the furniture out to check to make sure I did not leave anything behind. I also want to go through Grandpa's room with a fine tooth comb. I know I want some of his flannels and if you see stuff of his you want take it as well. My brother wants to get in there to sell whatever is left."

"Don't worry Chloe we will have plenty of time to get everything done and be out of there before Monday," He said.

"Good," I said. "After everything that happened today, I want to be out of here as soon as possible. I did start to look over the banking paperwork and we will not have to worry about money. I also saw the chest behind the drivers seat. According to the paperwork there are vouchers and gas cards for all over the United States and Canada."

"Chloe we will worry about all of that once we park at uncle Mack's place," He said. "But I need to go for now I want to get more packed and I will see you in the morning. Love you."

"Love you to Max," I said. "Really you know I do love you."

"Well if we are being honest Chloe," He said. "I have been in love with you since we meet in preschool. I cannot wait for the adventure we are going to have."

We hung up and I looked at the clock and it said 11:30 I decided to go till 2am and continued to pack. By the time it was 2pm I had most of my room packed and added some of the pictures of Max and I to put in the RV. I crawled into bed and set my alarm for 9am. I fell into a solid sleep. At 7am I was woken up to pounding on my bedroom door. I called out what. When no one answered I walked to the door and opened it. My mother was standing there with Mike and said, "You need to get up and keep packing."

"Mother I was up till 2am packing and am almost finished," I said. "Max will be here at 11 and by then I am hoping we will be done in here and onto Grandpa's room. Now leave me alone."

Mike went to push himself into my room and I said, "If you try to come in I will call the police Mike. You have harassed and bullied me for years and I am done with it. When I leave you will never hear from me again. Also so you know I am spoke with Mr. Jackson before he left yesterday. If anything happens to me I am leaving everything I got to the children's home in town. He will be here at noon with a judge for me to sign the paperwork. It also stated in Grandpa's will if anything happened to me before my will was filed everything goes to the same children's home. You both made your own beds now let me be so I can wake up and pack the rest of my room up so I can move."

Mike went to say something and Mom pulled him away. I watched them walk down the hall and I shut and locked my door. Pulling on the clothes I had put aside I started packing up the remaining items in my room. I added my two trunks with mementos from traveling with Max, Grandpa and Grandma to the pile. I stripped my bed and added the sheets to my hamper and thanked god that I did laundry the day before the funeral. Folding my blankets and comforter I added them to the pile and put a new set of sheets on the pile so I could make the bed in the RV. I checked the day before and the bed was also a queen.

I heard another lighter knock at the door and I opened it to see Max here early. He handed me a iced coffee and said, "I figured you would need this."

"Thank you," I said. "Mike and Mom decided to pound on my door at 7am this morning after I went to bed at two."

"Well let's go to your balcony and eat breakfast," He said "After we eat we will move all your furniture and make sure we have everything from your room. Then we go into your Grandpa's room and pack what you want."

Sitting on the balcony I said, "This will be the last time we are out here,"

"Are you alright Chloe?" He asked.

"Yeah," I said. "Just a lot of memories here."

"Well we will make new memories of our own and when we are done with our adventure we will settle down in a home of our own," He said. "We will have to make sure we have a balcony. God the amount of time we spent on this one was insane."

We finished eating and we went inside pulling all the furniture out so we could check for things that may had fallen. When he went to move my desk he said, "Its a shame we could not bring the desk I know how much you liked it."

Looking at him I said, "We do not have room for it. But its okay I will find a better one when we settle into a house of our own."

We opened the door and Mom was getting ready to knock. She looked at me and said, "Well are you done in here?"

"My room will be done when I leave for the last time," I said. "That is when I will hand you my key, Grandpa's key and my house and car key. Now please let me get this all moved."

"Well make it fast I want to turn your room into my yoga room and Mike is going to turn Grandpa's room into a gaming room," She said. "Remember to leave stuff for him to sell."

"I will not just leave things for him to sell," I said. "He should get a job and be an adult."

She went to raise her hand to hit me and Max said, "Do not even think about it."

Putting her hand down she yelled, "Hurry up and get out of here."

We took all the stuff from my room and unpacked it in the RV or placed it on the bunks. When the last of the items were moved out of the room I hooked the keys on my belt loop and went over to my car. We took around thirty minutes to clean out the car and I locked it after I emptied it. As we were heading inside I heard my name called, "Chloe."

I turned to see Mr. Jackson and a man in a suit. "Hi Mr. Jackson. Why don't we go inside the RV. It is rather tense in the house and to be honest I will be out of here hopefully later tonight."

Mr. Jackson gave me a look and said, "Chloe this is Judge Markins, and he will be the witness along with Max. Also once signed it is live and active."

Going into the bedroom I grabbed my wallet out of my purse and went back to the table everyone say down at. Before I could sit down there was knocking at the door. Opening it Mike was standing there with his Buddy's. "Chloe I need the keys to Grandpas room."

"Mike I told you when I am done getting what I want I will hand the keys over when I leave," I said. "Now if you will excuse me I was in the middle of something."

"Listen here Chloe you will give me that key," He barked. "NOW!"

Mr. Jackson stood up and came to the door. He looked at Mike and said, "Mike it looks like you are trying to dispute your Grandpa's will. Should I go inside and have a word with your parents as you are disputing the will for them. You know what, excuse me I think I will have a talk with your parents."

He left the RV and went to the door. Both of my parents were at the door and I saw the look on my Mom's face and Dad called out, "Michael get over here now."

Mike called me something under his breath as he walked away. Mr. Jackson said something we could not hear. He walked back towards me and said, "They were warned and will now leave you alone. I told them you would be letting me know if they hounded you or harassed you anymore."

"Thank you Mr. Jackson," I said. "I would like some peace as we work in Grandpa's room."

We sat and Mr. Jackson explained the will and that if something was to happen to me the remaining amount in my accounts would go to my husband if I was married or everything would be sold and go to the local orphanage if I was still single. Anything I owned jointly would defer to the other owner. He said that this could be changed anytime but for now it is what my Grandpa suggested."

After I signed, Judge Markins and Max signed. We told them we were going to be going to Max's uncles farm to stay after I loaded the RV with supplies and figured out our travel plans once I moved out. They said their goodbyes and left. Max said, "Are you ready for your Grandpa's room?"

"Yes," I said. "Let's get the boxes from my room and give it one last look over to make sure there is nothing that should have been packed."

We went inside and everything was quiet. Going up to my room we went in and I looked under and behind everything one last time. I checked the bathroom and realized I forgot the hamper. Max took that out to the RV and came back in saying, "Mike is pissed but he left me alone. Lets get these boxes and if we need more I have them in my truck."

Stopping at the door to Grandpas room, Max put his hand on my shoulder and said, "I have you Chloe."

Unlocking the door we went in and I sighed. It smelled like him still. We walked into the room and I headed for the closet. Looking at Max I said, "He was just as much my Grandpa as he was yours. If you see any clothes or things you want take them."

Max laughed and said, "After you."

Walking to the back I started going through his clothes. We found all his flannels that he loved and I took my favorite ones and laid them on the bed. Max grabbed a pile as well and said, "I will run these down while you sort more."

Finding boxes of his pictures from his travels I grabbed a box and added them into the first keep box. Then I found his collection of camera's from when he was a photographer and packed those up as well. Sorry Mike you ain't getting these at all. When Max came in he was laughing, "Mike is sitting at the bottom of the stairs monitoring everything we take out of here. He saw the flannels and was so mad."

"Good," I said. "I am done with his ways. Oh all along the bottom of the closet is all his shoes. Some of them are expensive shoes so if they fit you, definitely take them. There is a lot of boots as well."

Max laughed and took a box and went into the closet. While he started that I walked over to the first bookcase and took everything I wanted from it. We continued to go through the room. Max would bring the boxes down as we packed more. He would come back laughing each time because Mike looked more and more dismayed each time he brought down more boxes. After our first sweep of the room I asked Max, "How much more room do we have on the top bunks?"

"Well the clothes that we could wear in this weather I put on the bed so we could put them away. There is some room on both sides on the upper bunks and some room in the storage closet I found. So if you want to keep more we can fit about 5 more boxes. I left the shelves free for blankets and paper goods and I put some of my Grams baskets on the top shelf so we can add our memento's from where our adventures take us." He said.

By the door there was a partially filled box and I went back into the closet and looked through the clothes one more time. I took Grandpa's second best suit and found my Grandma's wedding dress. Taking those I added them to the pile Max picked them up and said, "Lets not let these touch the ground."

When he went out the door I looked through everything again and opened the drawers and under the bed and decided to take his blanket and his slippers. Going into the bathroom I grabbed his Bathrobe and aftershave. Looking in the cabinets I found a box that held his handgun and bullets. I took that as well and put it in the box. Max came in and said, "Anything else?"

"That box," I said. "Plus his robe and blanket."

"You ready to go?" He said.

"Not yet," I said. Sitting on his bed I called out, "Grandpa if your watching me I need to ask you a question."

There was a rush of air and he appeared in front of me, "Chloe what can I help you with?"

Max sat next to me and said, "It never ceases to amaze me when you do that. Hey Marshall."

"Hey Max," He said. "Enjoy the clothes I am glad they are not going to stay here for Mike to pawn."

"Grandpa is there anything else in here you want me to take with us?" I asked.

"Did you get the safe?" He asked.

Max and I looked at each other and said, "Safe?"

"Yes safe back to the closet," He said. "In the back where there is the corner cabinet. Do you see that tab? Pull it. The code is your birthday."

I knelt down and pulled the tab and Max brought in the box. When I opened the safe there was a stack of money and a jewelry box. Looking up I asked, "Was this Grandmas?"

"Yes," He said. "It also has some pieces that were my Mom's as well. Besides the safe you found my gun. Let me look around a second."

He came back and smiled at me, "You got it all."

I left the safe open and said, "Then I guess I am done."

Max took the box and I took the robe and blankets. Grandpa said, "I will see you kids again. Remember Chloe start the journals when your ready to start your adventure."

Looking at my phone, I said, "Wow it's only 6pm. How much more do you have left to pack?"

"About another hour or so," Max said. We headed downstairs and Mike looked angry when I came out with one last box and some more things. Walking past him we went to the RV and we put everything up. I took the cash from the safe and put it in my bag and took the keys for the house, car, my room and Grandpa's room off my key ring. Max followed me back into the house and I found them in the dining room eating dinner.

"Here," I said tossing them on the table. I am leaving now and you won't have to deal with me ever again.

As I went to walk away Max stopped and turned to them and said, "You can't even tell her goodbye. What is wrong with you all.  You all do not even deserve her."

When we got outside, I went into the RV and Max came in and hugged me. I looked at him and said, "I'm okay."

He went to say something and there was a knock at my door. My Dad asked if he could come in and I nodded to Max. He came in and said, "Chloe I am sorry about your mother and brothers behavior."

Looking at him I asked, "What about yours? You agreed when she kicked me out and have let her and Mike harass me. Its like you do not even care."

Sighing he said, "Chloe I am sorry about mine as well. I will not make excuses. Your Mother and I have been on the outs for a very long time. Honestly I am thinking about going to Mr. Jackson and talking to him about a divorce. Chloe I do not know why your mom is like this and I am going to find out. I know your mine because I did a DNA test when you were a baby."

Max said, "Wait why would you do that?"

Dad sighed and said, "Because Mike is not mine. His biological Dad passed away when Sharon was pregnant. I had no doubt in my mind he was mine, but Grandma suggested it to be sure after you were born. I was young and stupid. Which pretty much sums up my marriage to your Mom. I want a chance to make it right Chloe and try to have a relationship with you."

"Okay Dad we can try," I said. "I wish Mom didn't hate me as much as she does."

"That is on her," He said. "That is all I am going to say on the subject. When are you leaving?"

"We were getting ready to go in a few minutes," I said.

He hugged me and kissed my head. Looking at me as he went to leave he said, "Send me some postcards will ya and keep me updated on where you are. I have a PO Box I will text you that address as I think your Mom will throw anything out you send me."

"I will," I said.

When Dad left Max looked at me and said, "That's a start. Do you want me to back her out?"

I laughed and said, "Nope I got it. Just stand out there and give me directions."

Once I had backed out the RV Max came up to the window and said, "It should not take me more than two hours to pack. I will find you inside of Walmart."

Watching him walk to his truck I drove over to Walmart. I was lucky this location had RV parking. Grabbing my bag I checked for the cash and my debit card. I made sure all the locks were set inside and locked the door heading into the store. I started in the bath area getting new towels and stuff for the bathroom. Since i had the closet to store them in I made sure we would have plenty on hand. I continued around the store to the kitchen area and picked up an air fryer and coffee pot. I knew we had a small oven and two burners so I picked up pans that could be used in the oven as well as a small pot set. Grabbing beach items, a table and chairs for the RV as well I went to check out. While I was in check out Max found me and I asked, "What's wrong?"

"My Mom as usual." He said. "I am packed and ready to go."

"Okay," I said. "I just got the basics and paper products and cleaners, but have to come back in for food and health products."

After I paid, we went to the RV and I opened the side hatch for the small outdoor grill, charcoal and chairs I got and put them in locking it closed. Opening the RV Max bought the last of his things and put them up and helped me unload the cart. He asked me, "Do you want to put this away or get the groceries?"

"I figured we could put everything away once we got to the farm and settled in for the night," I said. "I am so happy that this RV has a full size fridge and freezer. Also I found we have a small deep freezer. Before I went into Wal-Mart I looked around and didn't realize what it was until I opened it. So remember we have a decent kitchen so we will stock up."

Going back inside we went to the health and wellness section first and got everything we would need. Then we went through the store and bought the food we would need to get us started. I had Max get an extra cart and we loaded up on all the drinks we would need for a while. After checking out we loaded everything onto the floor in the RV and headed out to Uncle Mack's place. When we pulled in his Uncle whistled at the RV and said, "What a beauty."

Max went over and shook his hand as I got out. Mack came over and hugged me saying, "Baby girl I am so sorry about your Grandpa. You know you are always welcome here. What do you need from me to help."

"Mack, your doing it," I said. "Now that I am out of my parents house I have to go over everything the lawyer gave me and after that is done I have to start the first journal to see where we are to go first."

"Well you kids take your time," He said. "Max your Mama called me and was hopping mad with you for moving out. I tried talking her down but you know how she is. She is more mad she will not get the rent you paid her more than anything."

"Since the ground is packed I am going to start putting out the extensions for the bedroom and living room," I said. "I am so tired it is going to be dinner and sleep tonight."

"Well you kids go get settled," He said. "I will check on you in the morning."

We went inside and Max said, "Okay boss lady do you want me to set up the gaming systems while you unpack?"

"Yes," I said. "But first can you help me find the laundry detergent so I can do a load of laundry. I know the gray water tank is empty and the water is full so we should be good."

"Well uncle Mack has a gray water collection system near were we are parked and a hose so we can fill the water tank." He said handing me laundry detergent.

I started the laundry that was in my hamper then started to unpack everything. Anything that needed to be washed was thrown into the hamper. Putting food into the cabinets, freezer and fridge I organized everything and by the time Max was done setting up the gaming systems we were ready to make dinner. Max asked, "What are you going to make for dinner?"

Looking at the meat in the fridge I said, "I am going to make chicken taco's"

"Oh," He said. "I love Chicken Taco's. What can I do?"

"If you want to cut up some of the vegetables for me," I said. "I will handle the meat."

We both worked on cooking dinner and I was glad for the ready made the sides. When everything was ready we sat at our table and made our plates. Looking at Max I said, "Wanna play some Call of Duty while we eat?"

He jumped up and grabbed the remotes saying, "Yes."

We logged into our accounts and started to play while we ate. When we finished eating we cleaned up and went to get ready for bed. We stood at the bed and he said, "Chloe I do not want this to be weird. I can sleep in the living room."

"No its okay," I said. "We have shared a bed before, just not as a couple."

He walked over to me and hugged me. "This is not a big deal we just started our future together we have all the time in the world. Just remember if you start to snore I will push you off the bed."

Looking up at him I asked, "Wanna fall asleep to a movie. After the last few days I am sleeping till I naturally wake up."

We laid in bed and fell asleep to Harry Potter playing. We slept soundly until we heard pounding at the door. Max sat up and said, "Stay here I will see who it is."

He left and I heard him open the window to the door. I herd muffled voices and when Max returned he said, "It is already eight in the morning. Stay in bed uncle Mack is going to teach me how to run the water and blackwater lines to the RV as well as the electric cord not to use all the solar batteries in the RV, so we do not have to use the reserves."

Closing my eyes I turned over and went back to sleep. I woke up a while later to Max pushing my hair back and saying, "Chloe do you want some coffee. Sit up I have you a cup here."

I sat up and said, "What time is it?"

"Its going on one in the afternoon," Max said. "Uncle Mack and I went over the hook ups and sliders and he taught me everything including the solar panels and how to read everything."

"Oh and I slept all day," I said. "I feel awful."

"Don't say that you have been through a lot," He said. "I had an idea. We have a lot of room left in the RV for the freezer, fridge and pantry. Do you want to go to the farmers market? I know you want to get more vegetables and then we can go to Aldi after to get all the stuff you like. Today is the night market also, when you get up in a bit I was going to make you a vegetable panini."

"Well how about this," I said. "After everything we did this week. Why don't we go to Panera, then to Sam's Club to stock up on drinks and snacks. Bring them back and then go to the Market and Aldi."

"Well I am good with that if you let me buy lunch," Max said.

"Its a date," I said. "Is it warm out?"

"Yes," He said. "Definitely a shorts day. By the way I think we need to look through everything your grandpa left in here tomorrow for our adventures. But I had an idea if you don't mind."

"Sure," I said.

"I think we should make this a unscheduled trip so you do not stress," Max said. "Besides you need to work on your blog today or tomorrow. I think we should also do a YouTube channel to go with it."

"Max that is a great idea," I said. "I guess I will be working when you work tomorrow?"

Taking my hand he said, "We got this."

After a little more encouragement from Max I climbed out of bed and started my day. After getting ready I grabbed my bag and we headed to lunch. When we got our food we sat down and were eating and Max said, "Chloe heads up but Mike just walked in with his cronies."

As I continued to eat I said, "Does it sound bad that I can't wait to leave this town because of him and his garbage?"

Before we could say anything else Mike walked up to our table and said, "Hello little sister you rich why don't you buy me and my friends lunch?"

Looking at him I said, "Why would I buy you anything Mike? Now leave me alone before I get the manager."

He leaned down and said, "Your a snob you know that right. Always got everything she ever wanted."

"You mean I worked for everything I ever wanted," I said. "Unlike you. I would rather have Grandpa alive instead of his money. Your just butt hurt he didn't leave you anything. But then again he wasn't your Grandpa anyway."

A police officer walked over and asked, "Is there a problem?"

Looking up I went to reply and Max said, "Officer he will not leave my girl friend alone."

The officer looked at me and asked, "If that true Miss."

"Yes sir," I said. "He is my half brother and he does not want to leave me alone due to the fact I inherited money and he got nothing. He has been harassing me for a while now and I would ask you to please have him leave me alone. We just want to have a nice lunch before we  go shopping for our trip out of town."

The officer nodded and said, "Well you need to leave the young lady alone. If you cannot leave her alone you will need to leave."

Mike looked angry and said, "This is not over Maggie."

The officer grabbed his shoulder and said, "That's enough young man you need to go."

We watched the officer make Mike and his friends leave. As he went to sit back down he said, "Can you see your car from here?"

Max said, "Yes Sir."

"If you see them here when you go to leave come get me and I will walk you out," He said. "He was on the phone with someone when he was leaving and he was hot under the collar."

Max put his hand out and thanked the officer. When we were ready to leave we checked and since the coast was clear we left. Going over to Sam's club we grabbed a large amount of non perishable items and once finished we headed to the farmers market we grabbing the collapsible cart we kept in the RV. We started at one end of the Market and filled the cart full. We were about to head back to the truck when I heard, "Have you not left town yet?"

Looking up I saw my Mom and asked, "Can you tell me why you hate me Mom?"

She looked at me and said, "Because I never wanted you to be born. Your brother was enough for me. He should have been enough for your Father and Grandfather. But no I had to deal with having you and then they doted on you."

"Well," I said. "You know Dad knows Mike isn't his."

She looked like I had slapped her and she said, "Mike is his."

"When I was born," I said. "Dad did a DNA test on Mike and me. I came back as his and Mike came back as not his. Dad knows Mom. You through a relationship with me away because you wanted to pull something over on Dad. But everyone has known the truth since I was a baby."

She had a look a pure fear on her face. She screamed at me, "What have you done?"

Quietly I said, "Nothing your lies are unraveling and you can't even admit to what you did. Now if you will excuse us we want to go back home and relax. Remember you kicked me out and will never have to deal with me ever again."

We loaded everything into the truck and went to Aldi's with plenty of time and finished getting our stock for the RV. When we got back to Mack's farm we unloaded everything. Mack came out and met us to tell Max his mother was on her way. Max looked at me and said, "Chloe I do not want to have you deal with my Mom. Go inside and start unpacking I will be okay with Mack here."

"Max," I said. "I can handle your Mom."

Mack laughed and said, "Chloe she is drunk. Let me stay with Max and go inside. After everything you have been through I do not want you to be on the receiving end of things. I have this alright."

Nodding I went inside and shut the door. I heard Max lock the door behind me. I started putting everything away when I heard his Mom scream, "What do you mean you and her are a couple?"

I heard Max say, "Mom our relationship has been coming for a long time. Everyone who knows us kept telling is to get together but we did not want to cross that bridge. Now we are and I am happy. You need to stop and leave."

"So what now your fucking her and you are just going to leave me," She said. "You are just like your Father."

"How dare you," I screamed. That was enough I went to go give her a piece of my mind and Mack pushed the door back so I could not leave the RV.

Mack said, "Suzette you need to call an Uber now. Your not driving in your condition and you are going to leave them alone."

I went to get out via the drivers door and Grandpa appeared. He put his hands up and said, "Chloe she is trying to get you to swing on her. She wants to fight because of the alcohol in her. Just put away the groceries."

Nodding at my Grandpa he walked to the table and sat down. I heard my name called from the drivers seat. Looking over I saw Mack in the open door. He said, "Chloe she is going to drive drunk do me a favor I do not want anyone to get hurt. Call the non emergency line and give them the farms address and explain the situation I want a officer to stop her before she leave the farm. Max is trying to talk her down now."

Nodding I sat next to Grandpa and called the non emergency line. After explaining the situation the officer said they will have someone waiting at both gates in five minutes. Looking out the passenger window I put up five fingers and Mack nodded. Going back to the groceries I fit everything in and started more laundry. Sitting across from Grandpa I pulled up my laptop and started to write about the upcoming journey and set up our YouTube channel. A few minutes later I received a call from one of the officers waiting telling me that they were set up. I flagged Mack and he said, "Max son you have wasted your breathe with your Mom let her leave. Go inside with Chloe and relax."

Grandpa said, "See you soon Chloe and faded into nothing."

Max came in and said, "I do not want her driving."

Pulling him into a hug I said, "That is why there are police at both entrances. Mack had me call when you were trying to talk down your Mom. Maybe this will help her get the help she needs."

He sighed and said, "I hate when she is drunk the stuff she says is horrible."

I grabbed his chin and said, "Stop. you and I both know you are nothing like your Dad. You also know that he didn't leave your Mom and you easily. He tried to make it work and Mack has told you that so many times. But you know her drinking was to much for him. You can always call him now that you do not live at home and really talk to him. We can even go see him."

"Really," He said. "You would do that for me?"

"Yes," I said. "Besides the last time you spoke to him he was living in St Augustine. Before we head out on our adventure we can drive up and stay at a RV park on the water. Also you know we have a bike storage in the back of the RV. I was thinking we should get some electric bikes for us to use to save on taxi's and cabs when we are parked. Why don't you call him?"

"What are you going to do?" He asked.

"I am going to shower," I said. "Then use the chicken taco meat and vegetables that were left over to make us some hot subs for a late super. Along with the salads we had last night."

Grabbing clothes I went and took my first shower in the RV. After I got out and dressed I looked out the window and saw that Max was on the phone while putting together our new grill. Leaving him to his call I prepared our subs and placed them in the oven to cook. Sitting on the couch I looked through the account paperwork logging into each of the accounts. Moving the debit cards attached to the accounts to my wallet I went to the chest behind the drivers seat and pulled out everything to sort and go through. Grabbing a notebook I started going through the stacks of gift cards, cash cards, airline credit cards, and cash cards. There was also cards and vouchers for state parks and RV sites for Canada, North and South America.

By the time Max came in from talking with his Dad he had a big smile on his face and he said, "Dad said we can come up and visit him. He said we can stay in his driveway and there is a RV spot a few miles away we can unload the black water tank."

"Do you feel better now?" I asked.

Sitting next to me on the floor he said, "Yes I do."

Leaning against him I said, "Good. Now do not stress. Also we need to go to Walmart tomorrow I need to get a lock for this box or maybe even a safe to keep in the trailer."

"What have you been doing when I was on the phone?" He asked.

"I decided to go through the box behind the drivers seat," I said showing him the list of items in the box. "This is every gas card and voucher we have for our trip. Also at the bottom of the box there is another hundred thousand dollars in cash. I went through all the accounts I have access to, along with the box we are set for life. That also does not include you working, the Blog, my book's and YouTube channel. Also speaking of books grandpa even left me the name of an editor he knows to send the books to."

"Well I think we should see about a safe," Max said. "The bed lifts up to hold blankets and stuff. I will measure it and we can get a safe to put in there to store everything. Then we can get a lock for the box and only keep a small amount of cash and some vouchers and cards, plus the journals in there."

"Well," I said. "How about this the sandwiches are on low. Why don't we shower and bring our food to the bedroom and eat as we read the first journal?"

He said, "That sounds good. I will go first."

I took the first journal and placed it on the bed. After I finished showering I plated our food and we sat in bed each taking turns reading out load.

Picking up the journal I started to read, "Hey kids if your reading this I am dead. Now I am sure we have spoken since then and since the reading of the will things have changed a lot for both of you. So let me say this Max and Chloe you belong together. I have watched you both your entire life and you have the foundation for a great love and romance. If you have not already jumped that bridge think about it. Now before you start the adventure get used to the RV and her quirks. Chloe I know Max needs to go see his Dad. I kept in touch with your Dad Max after he left and I will tell you that he was devastated that he could not get custody of you. We believe your Mom influenced the judge's decision. I don't know how but we believe she has. So take a few weeks and go see Max's Dad he is waiting to see both of you. Max son you know you have a little brother and I think its time to finally get to know him. He is a special boy and he needs to know you do not hate him as he never replaced you. Your Dad has your pictures in the new house and he tells your brother about you all the time. Stan even shows him the videos of you have playing sports Max. Even though you never met Ben he idolizes you. I think you need to go  to North Carolina."

Max took the journal to read as I ate, "So you need to plan your route to Stans house. Use this as a vacation and remember to stop and see everything. Oh and Chloe I know you love pictures with your phone but sweetheart spend the money and get a camera that you can pictures and videos with. Max make her do it and make sure its a good one. I am sure you will be able to get a lot of stuff for your new YouTube Channel a blog. Love you both, Marshal."

Max chuckled and said, "Your Grandpa thought of everything. I guess we will be shopping tomorrow for what we need."

Max stood up and took our plates. When he got back he said, "Lets get some sleep."

Pulling me into a hug he leaned down to kiss me. Things started to get heated and he pulled away and said, "We can't."

Chuckling I asked, "Why not?"

"Because your not on the pill and I do not have a condom," He said as he kissed my forehead. "I want to but Chloe we can't risk a baby."

"I agree," I said. We cuddled and talked as we drifted off to sleep.

The following morning we woke up to the rain coming down in sheets. Looking out the window Max said, "Well thankfully we had no real plans but to shop. We both hate driving in storms so let's play everything by ear for right now. I am going to log into the work system and work for a while if your alright with that? I am technically off because of the funeral but I was told I could log in if I wanted to."

"Sounds good," I said. "You start work and I will make some coffee and breakfast. Then I will clean up a bit and work on the blog."

Walking to the kitchen I started us coffee to make ice coffees and pulled out stuff to make breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns. Max set himself up at the kitchen table and grabbed put on his headset. After I got the hashbrowns in the air fryer I cooked us up some sausage patties and eggs to go with everything.

"Hey Max would it bother you if i used the vacuum?" I asked.

He gave me the thumbs up as I went area to area cleaning while the food cooked. When the hashbrowns finished I made our plates and put one next to him with a ice coffee. He looked up and said, "You finished cleaning already?"

"Sure did," I said and opened my laptop to work on the blog. Giving an update to what we were going to do I posted the article and pulled up a fresh screen to work on the book I was writing. A few hours later Max closed his laptop and said, "Chloe look the sun is out. Should we get to the stores now?"

Looking at him I said, "Huh?"

He sat next to me and asked, "What are you working on?"

"A book called Adventures With Grandpa," I said. "It is about the trips we took with Grandpa and Grandma growing up."

"Well let's make your Grandpa proud and start our own adventures shall we?" He said.

I saved my work and said, "Yes let's do that."

We put our laptops under the bed and I grabbed some cash. Heading out the door we went to Best Buy to look at the cameras and a safe. When I went to go in Max said he would meet me inside as he had to grab some vitamins from the pharmacy next door. Walking into Best Buy I found a sales person and said, "Help."

The older woman laughed and said, "What can I help you with?"

"I am looking for a camera that can do not only pictures but video as well," I said.

She smiled and said, "Well I can help you with that. Let us go look at what we have."

She showed me a selection of camera's and once I chose the camera we started to look at all the accessories. Max joined us and he said, "Sorry there was a lie next door."

As we picked out a case and a trip pod he asked, "Do they make selfie sticks for camera's?"

She said, "Yes they do."

She showed us everything and then Max asked, "What about water proof casing. Or would it be better to get a different camera for water related activities."

She said, "I will be honest if your going to be in or near the water I would get a waterproof camera. Also depending on what your doing I would suggest a go pro as well. Chloe you said you will be going on adventures you could also look into drones."

Max looked at me and said, "It would give us a lot of video content but those are up to you. I do not want us to ruin a camera by dropping it in a river or lake."

Looking at Max I said, "That is a great idea. Can you show it all to us along with extra batteries for everything? Also I would like to get a few of the larger portable hard drives and a charging station for everything."

Our sales person was a bit surprised when we paid cash and had a manager waiting to check the bills. I said, "My Grandfather passed away and set us up to go on a adventure of a lifetime. We even started a YouTube channel to chronical it all."

She said, "Well write down the name of your channel and I will follow you. You kids ever need anything at all come back and see me."

When we finished shopping we had spent a few thousand dollars and Max and I carried our bags to the car. Once in the car Max started laughing and said, "Well we are not really kids are we?"

"Well being nineteen makes us adults," I said. "But no I guess to some we are kids."

"Well the kid in me wants to go get ice cream on the way home and play with our new toys," He said.

We stopped at a culvers on the way home. Ordering our food and ice cream we headed back home. Mack met us at the RV when we got there and said, "Well it looks like you bought out the store. Feel free to take pictures and videos around the farm."

Max said, "Uncle Mack we will also have a view from the air. I have to learn how to fly the drone."

Mack whistled and said, "Seriously though if you want to send me some pictures I want to update the farms social media page."

"Mack its the least I can do," I said. "Thank you for reminding me while all this is charging I have to set up social media pages for the blog and YouTube channel."

"When will you have time to do all this Chloe?" He asked.

"When Max is working I work as well," I said. "That way when he is not we can enjoy our adventures."

"You kids have a better head on your shoulder than most adults," He said.

Max said, "Well you know we had good examples, You, Grandpa, Grandma, Dad."

Turning to Mack I will be testing everything tomorrow during the day and night. Monday I will send you everything I have but be aware It also may be on my social media pages as well. But your farm will be tagged in everything."

"Sounds good to me," He said. Max if you can do drone footage around the farm that would be great to put on the main page for when we open the trails again. But I will let you get all this set up. Oh and before I forget do you want to have dinner at the main house tomorrow night. Mrs. Milly would love to cook for you all."

"Yes we would," I said. "We can never say no to Miss Milly's cooking"

Going inside Max set up the charging station and safe. When everything was plugged in and organized I said, "Wow that is a lot of equipment."

"Yes it is," Max said. "Two go pros, a camera, a water proof camera and extra batteries. Not including the three portable hard drives you got. May I ask Why you got three?"

"Sure," I said. "One for the posts and writing. The Blog site limits us to how much we can keep on it. So We will have that to save the books we do and the blog. The second is for the pictures we take after I post them and the third is for all the videos we will be doing. We are going to load everything to the computer but when we are done I want to keep them in one place and not use up the computers memory."

"Well on that I am going to work for a hour or two if your alright with that," Max said.

"Sure am I am going to go to the pool and take a swim," I said. "I miss doing laps and since we are here I figured why not."

Max set up his computer and I went to the room and grabbed a towel. When I came out I set a load of laundry to wash and he said, "You know that's not fair."

"What's not fair?" I asked as I grabbed a towel.

"Strutting around in your bikini like that," He said. "You are driving me crazy."

Walking over to him I kissed his check and said, "You can always join me at the pool."

Picking up my phone i put it on the charger I walked out the door and went to the pool. I loved the pool at Mack's farm as it was secluded and big enough I could do laps. It also had grotto's and private areas to sit and relax. Getting in I started my laps just like I used to do at my old home. Losing track of time I didn't even realize the sun had went down until I saw Max walk into the pool area.

Getting in the pool he said, "You know you have been in here for two hours."

"Really the time flew by," I said.

Swimming over to me he said, "Well how about we relax in the grotto and then head to bed."

Swimming over we ducked behind the water fall and sat on the ledge behind it. Leaning against Max I said, "This place has not changed since we were kids."

Lacing my fingers with his he said, "We changed though. I remember when we could lay side by side on the ledge."

"It was the best way to hide from everyone," I said turning to him. "No Mom's shouting or people bothering us."

Pulling me closer he kissed me and said, "We will have to find all the hidden spots on our adventures."

Taking a deep breath I said, "Most definitely."

We started to kiss as the rain started outside the grotto. He said, "I do not want to rush you."

"Max we should have started our relationship so much sooner," I said. "Every important time in my life you were there. All the big events you were there. I have loved you since we were kids and that will never change. Now its growing to be something so much better."

Max lifted me up and said, "Well let's make it even better."

The following morning I woke up to my head on Max's chest. I started to get up when he asked, "Where are you going?"

Laughing I said, "I need a drink and to use the bathroom. Besides its a little after ten. We have stuff do today."

He pulled me against him and said, "Are you alright?"

"I am fine Max," I said. "Better than fine."

He kissed my nose and said, "Well I guess we should shower and start our day"

Getting up he headed to the kitchen while I used the bathroom and took a shower. While I got dressed I made us a quick breakfast while Max showered and pickup the camera getting it set up. He came out and grabbed the drone book looking it over. He said, "You going to bring a GoPro with you?"

"No," I said. "I am gonna use there two feet and walk the property getting as many pictures as I can. I may grab Mack's golf cart so I can get around faster. You want to come with me and do drone footage from each of the areas I am in?"

"Yes I do," He said. We grabbed the drone and extra batteries for it as well as the camera and went outside. I turned and took a few pictures of the RV with the barn and horse pasture in the back ground.

When we got to the main house we asked to borrow the golf cart. Max drove around as I played with the video settings and took pictures. We went to the main gate and I took pictures as Max launched the drone. We drove up the drive way and I stopped to take pictures as Max kept the drone up filming a video and brought it down when we stopped near all the horse pastures. Max and I walked the horse pastures taking pictures and doing a video with the drone. Looking over the video he said, "Cami call Mack on your phone and tell him to get out here. Ellie is foaling in the back pasture."

Dialing the phone Mack picked up and I said, "Mack you need to get to the back pasture."

"Did you guys crash the cart," He asked.

"No but your going to miss Ellie foaling if you don't get here," I said.

"Who let her out," He yelled. "Chloe please gets some picks for me. I am on my way."

We watched as Ellie had her first foal and Mack arrived just as she finished the delivery. He helped Ellie and I got a series of pictures with Ellie cleaning her foal and it standing for the first time. We got closer and Mack called out, "She had a girl."

We watched as the team loaded the new life onto a cart and Ellie followed them back to the barn. Max said, "We both have that on camera. Uncle Mack will be so happy."

The rest of the day we went to all the areas on the farm taking pictures and videos. We ended our day going into the horse barn taking pictures of the horses and going to see Ellie and her new baby. Mack joined us and said, "She was supposed to be in here no one is admitting to who let her out but you kids caught it. The vet came out already and Mama and baby are doing fine. Now what do you say we head to the house and have Mrs. Milly's food."

Max grabbed my laptop from the RV and while we were waiting for Mrs. Milly to call us to the table we loaded the drone footage and showed Mack the video of Ellie having her foal. I loaded the pictures and videos I had on the camera as well and copied everything to a jump drive for Mack. Handing it to him I said, "I think you have more than enough on here to go through and update your website. I will be editing and posting on social media this week and all my post will tag the farm. So you can get business from it I hope."

"Thank you both," He said. "I am still surprised she had her foal in the pasture. But Ellie is a picky one and she does what she wants."

Mrs. Milly called us to the table and we sat down to eat. She came and gave both Max and I a hug and said, "Now you both be good and I expect to see a lot of videos when your on your adventures. Remember us back home and visit soon alright?"

"Mrs. Milly you know we will come back and visit," I said. "You have both our phone numbers and you can check in on us anytime you want. Or even if you just want to talk."

"Oh I will be," She said. "I am so proud of you both. Now I am going to go home to Mr. Gerald and you both know I love you right. You may not be my Grandbabies but I consider you mine."

She left and Mack said, "She loves you both like her own. She may not tell you often but she does. But now that she is going home what is your game plan?"

Max looked up and said, "We are going to leave in two days and head up the coast to my Dad's place. Its time to mend those fences with him. Tomorrow before we work on the computers Chloe and I are going to plan our route and make a stop in St. Augustine for a day or two."

"Well like Mrs. Milly said, I will be checking the blog and expect to see up dates." He said, "I also expect to get calls from you both letting me know your alright. You may be grown up but I think of you as my own and want to hear from you."

"We will check in," I said. "We promise."

After dinner we went to the RV and put my laptop and memory cards inside. Then grabbing the camera we started with visiting Ellie and he baby in the barn. Then walking the property we took some pictures to remember our last long night on the farm.

Going into the RV we sat on the floor against the couch and pulled up a map to Max's Dads house. Putting in a stop to Saint Augustine we started looking for directions. Max groaned and said, "You know what we forgot to buy the other day?"

"What?" I asked.

"The electric bikes or scooters," He said.

I chuckled and kissed his check. Then I said, "Well we were both a little distracted. But its not a big deal there is a electric bike place up the road we can go in the morning and get what we need. We need to look around and see what else we need before we go. I would love to go back to Sam's and load up on more drinks and snacks. Also maybe some canned chicken and tuna as well as sandwich stuff. That way we can eat more in the RV instead of take out. Save us some money and not worry about what is for dinner. Plus the deep freeze and inside fridge has room we can get some snack foods to eat. Plus we have room for toilet paper, paper towels, sunblock, a massive thing of laundry detergent and we can fit a ton of drinks on the one bunk along with snacks and packaged things."

"Well," Max said. "We can go to the Sam's first and get what we want. Bring it back here and then go get the bikes or scooters."

Looking at the screen on the laptop I said, "It looks like if we leave on Wednesday early we can get to the RV park between their check in period. They have an online booking and it will accept the gift certificate I have."

"Go ahead and book it," He said. "That way we do not need to worry about that tomorrow. We can stop on the way out and gas her up."

Getting ready for bed we locked up the RV and headed to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up feeling sick. Jumping from the bed I ran into the bathroom and got sick. Max came in a few minutes later and asked, "Are you alright?"

Brushing my teeth I said, "I am sorry I woke you. Its just girl problems."

"I heard you get sick," He said. "Are you sure your alright?"

"Yeah I am okay," I said. "Usually you only see the cranky me once it starts. It likes to come in with a bang."

Hugging me from behind he said, "Let's get you back to bed. Do you want some Midol or Aleve?"

"No," I said. "But to be on the safe side I will need to eat a big burger tomorrow to keep my iron count up."

Climbing back into bed I curled against Max and went back to bed. Waking up the next morning I found I was alone. Looking at my phone I saw it was only seven in the morning. I heard the RV door open and Max walked in with a ice coffee and a bag from Dunkin. He said, "I know how you are when you get your period. So one ice Mocha coffee light and sweet. Your favorite bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel and because I know you a chocolate cream donut."

"Max you did not have to do that," I said.

"I know," He said. "But I also know that your feeling like crap and we have a lot to do today. Do you want to eat in bed or do you want to come to the table?"

"I will join you at the table," I said.

"Take your time this morning," He said. "But remember the sooner we get back the sooner you can rest."

"I need to do laundry today," I said. "Also you said last night you wanted to work this afternoon. While you do that I wanted to clean and work on the blog and social media."

"Well eat and rest," He said. "I will start the laundry. Did you want me to change the sheets?"

"No," I said. "We can wash them before we leave Saint Augustine."

Max started the laundry while I ate. When I was done I got ready to go and we headed to Sam's Club. We grabbed a flat cart and went to the drinks first, along with paper towels and toilet paper. When we filled the flat cart we went to pay and Max went to load the drinks in the truck. While he loaded the drinks I went to the prepackaged food and started to add things to the cart. Max came up behind me and said, "I need to give you a heads up your Mom and Brother are here."

Shrugging I said, "Ignore them."

As we walked the aisles we continued to add food to the cart Max said, "We should check the sporting aisles to see if they have the blow up paddle boards you want."

Walking over to sporting goods we not only found the paddle boards we wanted but they had electric bikes. Max grabbed the tickets for them and then we went to head to the bakery and frozen aisle when I heard Mike call out, "There she is the bitch that got everything."

Max said, "Chloe don't do anything he wants to cause a scene."

The clerk near us asked and said, "Miss is that young man trying to harass you?"

"He wants me to do something stupid so I can be arrested," I said as I looked through the UV shirts. "He is mad him and my parents did not get the bog payout they expected when my Grandfather passed away."

She nodded and said, "I will handle that for you."

She got on her walkie and said, "We need a manager near sports cloths. There is a young woman being harassed by someone."

Mike kept making comments while I stayed in the clothing area adding a few shirts to the cart. The sales person was disgusted with the situation and gave Max and I personalized attention while we were shopping. The Manager came over and Max pretended to ask questions about the electric bikes while she observed Mike's and my Mom's behavior. Max explained the situation and I said, "I am sorry for the trouble we would like to finish our shopping and leave but they are in the areas we need to finish. We would come back tomorrow but we are leaving town around seven in the morning for the first leg in the journey we are taking. The electric bokes here saved is from having to go to another store."

She nodded and said, "Didn't you check out once already."

Max laughed and said, "Yeah wanted to make sure we had enough drinks to last a while. So after we purchased everything on the flat bed we came back in to get the bikes and food to finish filling our RV. We know the prices of food on the road and its easier to pull into a rest stop and make something quick then going through fast food or restaurants. We have a travel and social media platform we are starting with our travels and work on the road as well."

Looking at the manager I said, "All I want to do is get through dairy, bakery, frozen and home health and check out."

She nodded and said, "Well lets get you through that shall we. Kay would you mind escorting these two to dairy and I will go have a talk with the people causing a scene."

"Sure," She said. "Come on guys you can give me your blogs name while we get to the bakery. They have some great deals on items going on for quick snacks and meals."

As we walked over to the bakery we saw the manager go over to Mike and my Mom. When the manager spoke to them I heard my Mom say, "Do you know who I am? I could have your job."

Turning to Kay I said, "Warn your manager my Mom only says that when she is overly drunk. My Mom might swing on her."

Kay gave the warning in the headset and the Manager took a step back and within a few minutes we saw security approaching. My Mom's voice became more shrill and the manager said, "Mrs. for the safety of my customers I am going to have to ask you to leave the building."

Mike screamed towards us, "I will be waiting for you both."

Kay quietly said to me, "We will have your boyfriend go get his vehicle with security and have him bring it to the loading area to load the bikes. Once he gets there we will escort you out. Our store takes pride in its safety."

We finished shopping and while the store got the bikes from stock I waited with Kay and thanked the manager for her help. Everyone took our blog name and I promised it was being updated along with social media later today. When Max pulled up I was walked out and we loaded the bikes and everything into the truck. We thanked everyone again and as we drove away he said, "When I got to the truck I worried for a moment about where we would be storing the bikes. Then I remembered there was storage for them already."

"I thought about that as well," I said. "But I figured we would figure it out when we got home. After this morning I cannot wait to leave."

Arriving back home we unloaded everything and Max started to put the bikes together as I put everything away. When he came in we had the pizza we had bought for lunch at Sam's Club while working. After a few hours of working on the blog I stood up and said, "I cannot believe how much pictures and footage we have. I am only a bit of the way through our time here at the farm and I have so much left."

As he continued to work he asked, "Did you focus on just the blog?"

"No I had screens up for the blog, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube," I said. "We are starting to gain a steady stream of followers on all of them. While I was at it I created a bank account so if we do start making money off of it then we can use that to pay for our expenses. So far only the blog is set up for monetization as of right now."

"How are we set up for that already?" He asked.

"I created the account when Grandpa got sick and since its old enough I put the ads live," I said. "So if anyone is on our social media pages and then goes to the blog we have a chance at residual income. Basically planning for our future."

"You planned ahead," He said.

"I did," I said. "Do we need the money? Nope. But this will afford us a life one day when we decide to stay in one place. When we get to your Dads I am going to ask Mr. Jackson to send me the mail to your Dad's post office once our new account cards arrive."

Switching the last of the laundry over I folded what was left. After that I sat down and worked on the blog some more and my book. When our alarms rang for five that evening we both finished up what we were doing. Max sat next to me and I confirmed out spot for the following night. Looking at the map we googled tourist spots between Brooksville and Saint Augustine. Going to bed early so we are ready for the morning we woke as the sun was coming up over the farm.

While I made a quick breakfast for us we made the bed and put everything that could fall over in our room into a basket on top of the bed. Once we were ready Max closed the slider to the bedroom. He made sure our black water was empty along with the composting toilet. He topped off the water tank and closed everything for travel. While he did that I made sure everything that could fall was placed in baskets in each area. When we closed the slider to the kitchen and living room area we were ready to go.

Walking outside we hugged Mack and he said, "Have a great time and know you can visit whenever you want. Just check in so I know your alright."

We loaded into the RV and pulled out to head towards Saint Augustine. Our first stop was to arrive in Bushnell Florida. When we got to there we followed the signage for the Dad Battlefield Historic State park and decided to visit for a while. After we paid our $3 to park in the RV lot we walked the area taking videos and pictures. We would have stayed longer but after an hour of being there we heard thunder in the distance and decided it was time to move along. Around lunch time we stopped at the Pitman Center at the  Ocala National Forest. Making a quick lunch we went to a picnic table and enjoyed the scenery as we ate our lunch. We decided to walk around for a little bit before heading back to the RV to continue on. When we got into the RV the sky opened up and it was raining so hard that we decided to wait out the rain.

Max said, "It looks like a lot of people are waiting out the storm."

Sitting at the table I took out my laptop and Max made us a snack. The wind from the storm rocked against the RV and we sat working at the table until we heard a knock at the door. Max opened it and a park ranger asked, "May I come in?"

Max stood back and asked, "Is everything alright sir?"

"Sure is we were letting everyone know that the visitors center will be open till the storm passes," He said. "Looks like your all set here though."

Laughing I said, "We are we are heading to St Augustine but the storm was a bit much today. We were still hoping to hit Palatka for a few hours but depending on the rain that might not happen."

He said, "The next break in rain is in about an hour. If you kids time it right as the storm softens you should be able to get on the road and head over there."

"Well," Max said. "If its raining we may have to skip Palatka as we were going to take our electric bikes and do the mural tour. We thought it would be something cool to add to our blog and channel."

He noticed the laptop and the portable hard drives. Looking over he asked if we had cards. I said, "No but I was going to stop at a shop in St Augustine to order some for us."

"Well it looks like you may get that break in the rain in the next hour," He said. "Remember road safety."

When he left Max looked out and said, "Lets put up the laptops away as the rain is getting lighter."

He took the laptops and monitors and put them in our room. I filled our drinks and grabbed the camera. Max took the driver's seat and we started to leave the park. The timing was good as we drove out of the rain and into sunshine. When we got to Palatka we parked the RV in a park parking lot and pulled our bikes out to try. I did ask a local officer if we were fine to park here as we were doing the mural tour. He said it was fine and he would be here for two hours. Then he told us to watch the sky incase there are any storms."

We went to the city hall and got a map to the city with the murals. We were on the bikes about an hour and headed back to the RV as the rain storm was approaching. The cop was getting on his wet weather gear as we loaded the bikes. He said, "Where are you kids heading?"

"Saint Augustine," I said. "We have reservations for the next two weeks at a RV park on the outskirts of old town and on the Atlantic. We were testing the electric bikes and are happy we got them as it saves on cabs and ubers."

Max said, "Well the bikes are charging per the instructions and we need to go to get ahead of the storm. Lets take a moment to use the bathroom and wash up before we go. That and get more drinks and a snack from the fridge. Do you want me to drive again or do you want to?"

"I would like you to drive," I said. "I been getting a lot of great videos and pictures."

We thanked the officer and went inside. After we used the bathroom, I got snacks and drinks ready. Looking at the cards I had out for this part of the trip I had Max stop at the Racetrack gas station and we filled the tank using some of the gift cards we had. I called the RV park and made sure we still had our spot. The elderly woman who ran it confirmed the spot and that we used the vouchers for payment for the two week stay. She told me which spot we were and she would meet us when we got there.

After another few hours of driving we pulled up to the RV park and gave our names. The manager Claire came out and said, "I was getting worried about you kids."

Max said, "We would have been here a bit sooner but there was a big accident on the highway. We literally were at a standstill. But it worked out because the poor couple in front of us had a three year old and we had the closest potty. The Dad was so embarrassed he had to ask. We opened the RV to some people so they could use the bathroom if they needed it. A few RV drivers were doing the same with the people stuck in the standstill. Max even played some touch football while waiting."

She laughed and said, "Well that was nice of you. Those storms have been horrible but your here now and no driving this big baby for two weeks. Follow me Chloe, you kids have your own site and I thought you would love the view. She showed us to the site and our front door faced the ocean. Max made sure we had enough room to let out the slides for the bedroom and living room out and we got set up for the night. After we set everything up I said to Max, "Why don't we grill burgers outside tonight and I can make some fries in the air fryer?"

Max said, "Yes that sounds great. Are those burgers the one in the deep freezer?"

"Yes," I said. "Then we can sit outside and eat as we rest."

"Okay," He said. "I will finish getting the lines hooked up and you get the food started."

Going to the side hatch I pulled up the outside hatch and grabbed some charcoal to use the grill that came with the site. Starting a fire I let it burn down and went inside to get the fries in the air fryer. Going into the fridge I grabbed all the toppings, buns and four burgers from the freezer. Placing everything on a tray I went outside. I found Max cleaning the grill and he took the burgers to start cooking. Looking over the water he said, "When we decided to take a year off for college to take care of your Grandpa I never thought we would be doing this."

Setting up our chairs and table I said, "I know. Grandpa had always talked about a grand adventure when we were graduating but I never thought it would be this."

Going inside I grabbed my camera and came outside to take some pictures. When I was done I said to Max, "You know you want to play with the drone why not take it out for a few I will finish dinner."

He smiled and said, 'What a great idea."

Going inside he grabbed the drone and launched it. While he flew the drone I finished cooking the burgers and assembled them. Grabbing the fries and placing them in a bowl I said, "Dinner is done."

Bringing the drone back he landed it. He asked, "Tomorrow morning why don't we do some work in the morning and you can look up some fun stuff for us to do after we are done."

We heard a throat clear and the manager said, "Sorry to bother you. But I forgot to give you your welcome pack when you got here. There are a bunch of brochures in the pack and a list of close places. There is also a flyer for a local driver who brings people who do not want to walk to the city or use the trolly. But if you have bikes you can bike there and there are plenty of places to lock up or store your bikes."

Max said, "Thank you Claire that will be a big help. We do have electric bikes. How are the currents here we also have paddle boards."

She nodded to the small dock and said, "A lot of people use the dock for paddle boards and kayaks so you will be fine. Also on Saturday night we have live music and do a pot luck if you want to meet fellow RV people."

We both smiled and thanked her. When she left I said, "I am thinking of doing a interactive map on the blog and putting in locations we had been to after we leave the locations so people can visit where we have been after all the videos and pictures are loaded to the blog and social media. Mack said I can place the farm in it as he was opening up tours and such. Wouldn't it be great if we can give some positive publicity to the places we are able to visit."

Max said, "That is a great idea. Are you going to make one from scratch or did you find one?"

Laughing I said, "I will look through them but google maps has one that is free and you can customize it where you can add pins with descriptions. I think it allows fifteen hundred words per pin."

Max said, "Well I know you and how you work. I think any place we visit can get on the map immediately. But any place we are staying or boondocking we wait till we leave to post. I don't trust my Mom or Mike and your Mom not to harass us."

"True," I said. Starting to yawn I said, "I am tired."

"How about this," Max said. "Why don't you go take a shower and I will clean up."

Standing up I said, "That sounds great. Thank you Max."

Going inside I took a shower and got ready for bed. When Max finished cleaning up he found me already asleep. He chuckled and got ready for bed himself.

*******************************************************************

We woke up the next morning to a knock at our door. Answering the door I found Claire. Stepping out to let Max rest I asked, "Claire is everything alright?"

She smiled and said, "I am so sorry to wake you. Since it was late last night I forgot to tell you were do hold a breakfast here from seven to ten if you do not want to cook and mingle, but I also wanted to let you know that there is a carnival down the road its the last day and its running until six tonight."

"Oh that sounds fun," I said. "What time is it anyway?"

She chuckled and said, "Its a little after ten. My daughter and I are taking my Grandkids as its unlimited rides day. My husband and son in law will be working here at the grounds as they are not into carnivals. You said you had biked but it is only a half mile walk and the trolly picks up and goes back and forth past the park every thirty minutes till seven tonight and then they run every hour over night."

"Thank you Claire we may see you there," I said.

"Well," She said. "I have been following your blog and I know you and Max probably have to work. But a carnival on the beach in Saint Augustine would be a great addition to your videos and social media."

A little girl ran up to Claire and said, "Grandma! Mommy said the trolly will be coming by in ten minutes! We wanna go on the Ferris wheel."

I said, "Well Claire I believe they have spoken I am sure we will see you there."

Saying our goodbyes I went back in and Max was coming out of the bathroom. He asked, "Is everything alright?"

"Yes," I said. "Claire wanted to let us know they do a breakfast from seven to ten in the morning. But also there is a carnival down the road till six tonight if we wanted to check it out. Its on the water and the trolly goes by every thirty minutes till seven. After that it runs once an hour."

"Well." Max said. "We can work tonight when we get back. Let's go to the carnival after we eat. Or lets eat a snack and get some carnival food for breakfast."

We got ready and I grabbed my wallet. Looking at Max I said, "I think it would be easier if we used cash when we could."

"I agree," He said. "There should be plenty in the box."

Taking some cash out I split it between Max and I. Grabbing the camera and our go pro we locked up the RV and joined the group of people waiting for the trolly. When it arrived we took standing spots at the front and Max made a video of the ride to the Carnival while I took pictures of various locations. When I arrived I used a debit card to pay our way in and we went in search of breakfast. When we got a small breakfast so we could snack during the day we sat watching the people in the crown walk through.

During the day we went on rides and snacked on all the fair food. Taking pictures during shows and using the go pro to make videos while we were on rides. When we sat down at a table to have a late lunch a gentleman approached us. He said, "Hello guys are you having fun at the carnival?"

Max said, "We sure are."

He asked, "We have seen you taking pictures and making videos and were wondering what you kids do with them. Your not in trouble I am the owner and I can see you both are having a great time."

"Please join us," I said. We explained about Grandpa passing and how he is sending us on a well planned adventure but first we were traveling to see Max's Dad. We told him about the blog and our social media posts.

He looked at me and said, "I am not a stalker but are you Chloe?"

"Yes I am," I said.

He gave a big smile and said, "Chloe I have known Marshal and May for decades. I believe you are supposed to come visit us soon enough with his journals. I received a letter from his lawyer about his passing. I am so sorry for your loss dear. I was in the army with your Grandfather back in the day. My name is Larry."

"Oh my," I said. "Larry it is wonderful to meet you. We are only starting the journals and the instructions were to visit Max's Dad first. As Grandpa would say its a small world."

He had a soft look on his face and said, "It certainly is. So this blog of yours and  social media will you be posting the carnival?"

Max said, "That is the plan sir. I work for a company so when I am working Chloe works on the blog and social media."

"Now that we are settled everything will be updated more," I said. "But when the owner of the RV park told me about carnival we had to come."

Max laughed and said, "We will be working tomorrow for sure at least for a while and later tonight."

Larry stood up and said, "I am so glad to have come and talk with you. Take my card Chloe if you want you can put the carnivals website on a post and it has all of our hours of operation and a list of what shows we will be doing. If I ever decide to retire my kids all want to take over."

"I will do that Larry," I said. "We have so much to put on the blog still but when I get to the carnival I will be letting everyone know we met and how we are connected."

"Well then I am sure we will see you soon," He said. "Enjoy the rest of your time here."

For the rest of the afternoon we rode on more rides and played carnival games. We won a few prizes and decided to get some various carnival food and snacks to eat for dinner. As we left the carnival we said our goodbyes to Larry and his wife Sue. Getting in line for the trolly we heard the famous Florida thunder in the distance. When we got back to the RV park we got to our RV as the rain started to fall.

Max said, "That was fun today and what was the likely hood we would meet a friend of your Grandpa's."

Placing the food on the TV tray next to the table I said, "I know right. So now we have to adult huh?"

He laughed and said, "Yeah I guess we do. But we get work done now and in the morning we will have all afternoon and evening to do things tomorrow."

We opened the food and ate as we worked. I first worked on the book I was writing. When I was done with that I started to look over the pamphlets Claire gave us and made a list of attractions we could visit. Then I did a few google searches to find places to visit that were off the beaten path. When that was done I went and grabbed the camera and go pro and downloaded all the new pictures and videos we took today.

Bringing up all the social media sites we post on and the blog I started to sort and post all the pictures we took. As I posted I said to Max, "We are starting to get a nice following on all social media soon enough we will be able to qualify for payouts. The blog is already starting to earn funds. Speaking of which I need to order business cards for the blog. Do you want me to do the cards in both our names or mine only?"

He said, "Just yours. Because your the one who handles the social media. You can put your phone number on them as well."

"Good I found a shop that allows online ordering and they are down the road. If I order tonight we can pick up in two days." I said. "Then we will have cards to hand out."

Placing and order for five thousand cards I saw they do custom designs and ordered two backpacks with the blogs name on it for when we are on the bikes or walking. Then I saw they offered stickers and ordered a box of a thousand. The last thing i ordered was three decals to put on the RV back window. When I paid I started to work on the video's and pictures again.

After another hour of work I finished posting everything from staying at Mack's farm. Then I started on the trip to the Dade City Battle Ground. I started yawning and Max said, "Well Chloe I think we got enough work done for now. I did check the weather tomorrow and it does not look good so we may be working all afternoon and morning as that is when the rain is supposed to hit."

"Well at least we have stuff to do," I said. "Even if I was to get everything done I have two books going. One is the horror book I am writing and I started a book with black and white pictures of our travels. I made a special folder for those on my computer. I figured that the stories in print would be fun as well."

He shook his head and said, "You never cease to amaze me."

"Well that is because I love you and you love me," I said. "Anyone else would think I am obsessive."

He laughed and said, "We were partners all through school you can be obsessive on a project. But that is a good thing to."

Standing up he cleaned up everything we had out and I grabbed us water bottles. Looking out the windows overlooking the water I said, "That is some lightening show."

He handed me my camera and said, "Come on let's watch the storm."

We went to the door and sat on the stairs up to the RV. Watching the storm I took pictures of the lightening over the water. As it got later I started to yawn and Max said, "I think we had a long day. Lets get some sleep. Hopefully the storm will pass so we can go somewhere tomorrow."

"Well there are plenty of options," I said. "We can choose one if the storm breaks."

Going to bed for the night we cuddled and fell into a solid sleep.

Waking up the next morning we were greeted by signs of a storm over the water. Max checked the radar and said, "Well it is coming our way. Do you want to cook or go to the breakfast they offer?"

"Lets do breakfast in the park," I said. "If the storm passes we can go somewhere. If not we get back to work."

"Sounds good!" I said grabbing my purse.

We walked up to the food house and Claire greeted us as we walked in. After Max paid for our food we made our plates from the buffet and sat down to eat. Claire came over and said, "It looks like we are going to get that storm coming towards us. We always suggest putting up your chairs and things till it passes so you don't have to worry about them getting damaged."

"Thanks Claire," Max said. "So Claire you have been here a while. What is something fun to do if its raining in Saint Augustine?"

"Let me think," She said. "The Pirate and Treasure Museum, The Old City Jail, Spanish Military Hospital, and my personal favorite is the Ghost and Trolly Tour."

Smiling I said, "Thank you Claire. I think we may have to use the trolly today if the rain keeps up."

"Well I will be honest with you all," She said. "Being its Monday you may have very little lines. My favorite is the trolly tour. History and ghosts combined."

Max laughed and said, "That sounds awesome. I know we have to go to pick up our cards as well sometime in the next two days so we can definitely go to some of these."

There was a loud crash of thunder and I said, "After the lightening passes and its not so bad."

We all let out a laugh and Claire said, "If it gets to bad I was going to go to the store I have no problem driving you to get the cards if it is still bad weather. Then you can get on the trolly for the locations."

"Thank you Claire that is so nice," I said. "I will let you know when I looked at the radar it did show clear sky's after lunch time. That gives us enough time to work for a while."

"You kids have a smart head on you," She said. "I started looking at your Blog and social media. I cannot wait to see what you post about us!"

Max said, "Only good things Claire this place is amazing and we have loved our experience here so far."

Claire smiled and said, "Good. My family has ran this park for over sixty years and we pride ourselves on the service we give."

Max and I chatted with Claire for a bit longer. After finishing our meal we headed back to the RV and started to work. I set up the camera to video the storm from the front of the RV. Checking our social media I found our social media accounts were thriving and everything was now being monetized. I wrote down the amounts that were cashed out and Max started to cough as he said, "From the videos you posted?"

"And pictures yes," I said.

He whistled and said, "Its all you Chloe if you did not work so hard the social media would not be doing so well."
